Interview with Fine-Art Photographer David Kahn

We are happy to bring this podcast interview with David Kahn, a fine-art photographer from Natick, MA. This podcast interview with David offers a rare look inside the thought process of an artistic, montage photographer. He brings a whole new perspective to photography though his very unique style and procedure from capture to vision to end resulting image.

David Kahn’s mother was an artist, so grew up in an art-filled environment. He was exposed to many forms of art, but was drawn to photography. He started out with film and jumped into digital photography very early-back when digital images were captured on a floppy disc!

Listen in to learn about his unique vision and process as well as the obstacles he had to overcome. David also talks about his involvement in the local arts in his home town of Natick, MA where the downtown area was recently designated as a cultural district.

David Kahn is also the founder of the New England Light Painters (NELP), a group of art-focused photographers who meet twice a month to review each other’s work, exchange ideas and participate in group shows.
